Go Team Bradders!

My adorable little sister - Lucy (who also likes to take the name Bradders!) has made a commitment to run the 26.2miles of the London marathon on April 21st 2013. By doing so, Lucy who is a Sales Executive at Uttoxeter Racecourse is aiming to raise awareness and money for Racing Welfare. What is particularly amazing about this is, only 18 months ago when Lucy ran her first lap of Uttoxeter racecourse (just over 1 mile) was a huge achievement for her. Let me paint the scene for you, she was 2 stone heavier, out of shape and on passing the finishing line genuinely thought she was going to have a heart attack! What a difference time, determination and commitment can make! As when being faced with the opportunity to run a marathon just 13 months later, what did she say? YES of course! Lucy has promised to raise £2000 but Lucy being Lucy has set a goal of £5000! Therefore she has got her older sister (me) and best friend, Fin involved to help out with it. The three of us will be visiting racecourses across the country to participate in collecting money at different race days. The next one being this Saturday at Doncaster, so please look out for us when leaving through the gates and donate some of your winnings or you can make a donation here.

Sis you are an inspiration, wishing you every success in your challenge, I'll cheer you on all the way round and wait for you to cross the finishing line. Whatever unique ideas you come up with to raise the money, you can count me and Fin in!

Say Hello to T.T.

At the end of last year I had the pleasure of working with the fantastic team at Parkhouse-Evans to bring the impish little character 'T.T' to life.

I had a fantastic time illustrating T.T. on his magical adventures

....over land and sea,

in the castle of laughter and merriment...

and through the bewitched forest of trees with scary hands!

The book has been written by author Barbie Alice with the idea to expand young minds as well as to stimulate the imagination. I think its a perfect read for little hands everywhere. Its is currently published by Lulu and available on Amazon.

Have you got an idea for a story that you're dyeing to see in real life, get in touch, i'm here to help!
