You've guessed it PENGUINPIG is one of those super exciting projects that I had the most fun bringing to life earlier on in the year!!
It is a story of a little girl who reads about the cute little character on the Internet and decides that she must go out and find one. Not telling her far-too-busy parents, she follows the instructions from the website and sets about in search of this delightful creature. But does the adorable PENGUINPIG turn out to be what she had hoped…?
The book is aimed at children aged between 5-7 years of age and sends out an important message to both children and their parents about safety on the Internet – an important topic with children as young as 3 now accessing the Internet on a daily basis.
It was last Wednesday PENGUINPIG fever hit Wrights of Louth at the official launch and I have to say the day could not have turned out any better. Stuart Spendlow (the author) and I had fab time seeing everyone's reaction the book and i've never drawn so many PENGUINPIGs in one day.
